校运会外国语学院志愿者经验分享（上）


日月如梭，光阴似箭，

转眼间，

2020年的校运会也接近尾声了。

在这次校运会中，

我们外国语学院的老师和学生们积极参与了

秩序册翻译和双语播报的志愿工作，

充分展现了我们学院的风采。

我们EJC编辑部有幸邀请了他们来为大家分享

这次活动的经验和感想，

因篇幅问题，我们将分成2期向大家推送，

让我们一起来看看吧！





一、秩序册翻译

1.卿晓慧（卿晓慧 李昱洁 钟杰组）
  本次我们组的成员有李昱洁、钟杰和卿晓慧（我）。我们负责翻译的部分是除了各项目秩序册翻译部分以外的所有部分。我们组的任务分成了两个阶段，一是前期的翻译；二是后期整合和调格式。我们把自己组别的工作量分成了三部分，然后抽签决定每人负责的特定部分。所有组员都积极主动的参与并提前完成任务。
   本次翻译中，我们认识到1.要密切关注时事的变化。如:Chengdu Sport Institute已经改为Chengdu Sport University。2.要精通翻译技巧以及体育词汇。3.要注重通力合作，统一标准。本次我们组遇到的困难就是在整合各组翻译时，遇到不统一的问题，给后期工作加大难度。
   总的来说，本次翻译运动会秩序册活动，给我们带来了足足的成就感。已经开始期待下次的翻译活动啦！
     There are three members in our group, Li Yujie, Zhong Jie and Qing Xiaohui (I). We are responsible for translating the whole part except the part of each sport program. The task of our group was divided into two stages. One was the translation, and the other one was integrating text and form of all groups. Our workload was divided into three parts, and we drew lots to decide the certain part of each member. All of us participated actively and completed tasks ahead of schedule.
       During the process, we realized that firstly, we should pay close attention to current events, for example, the name of our school has been changed as Chengdu Sport University. Secondly, we should master translation skills and sport terminology.Thirdly,we should focus on the smooth cooperation and unifying standard. The difficulty we encountered was inconsistency of all groups’ translation when we integrated the whole text, which brought us more workload.
       All in all, this translation activity has brought us a full sense of achievement. We’ve begun to look forward to the next translation activity already!

2.冉子玉（冉子玉 徐熠辉 杨帆 杨鑫梅组）

    这次我们组负责翻译的是田径、足球、游泳三个项目的秩序册。这次秩序册翻译十分贴合我们的专业，让我们进一步的接触到了体育翻译，这是一次很宝贵的锻炼机会。在翻译过程中，组员们也发现了在体育英语中的许多英中表达的差异，针对目的语的特点才能准确的翻译，这样才能真正做到准确传达信息。

    This time our group is responsible for the program translation of track and field, football and swimming. This kind of translation is very close to our major, and it let us further contact with Sports Translation. This is a very valuable opportunity to exercise. In the process, the team members found a lot of differences in English and Chinese expressions in sports English, in accordance with the characteristics of the target language can be accurate. That’s how we really get the message across.
3.陈晓芳（王巧、陈晓芳、张均涵、刘志强组）
    很荣幸参加2020年校运会秩序册的翻译工作，尤其是参与技巧比赛、体操比赛以及艺术体操比赛的项目翻译工作。这三个项目都是今年新加入的运动项目，所以对我们组的考验也相对比较高，因为没有往年的材料作为参考，我们队只能通过网上查找以及学姐费心给我们找的这三个项目的相关术语翻译。说实话，翻译工作是一个比较漫长的过程，在我们各种查找资料翻译结束后，又很小心的校对，特别怕某一个地方的翻译不是那么的准确，从而影响整个秩序册工作的翻译质量。因此无论是一开始的翻译工作，还是后来的校对工作，都是对我们的考验。翻译本来就是一个极其需要耐心自己知识储备量的工作，通过此次秩序册的翻译，我们也深刻认识到自己对一些体育项目的术语掌握还需要进一步加强。总之，很荣幸参与此次校运会秩序册的翻译工作，让我们对翻译工作以及自身的知识储备都有了更清晰的认识，所以我们会继续努力，平日多多进行知识储备，以备在下一次的翻译工作中能够得心应手！
    We are honored to participate in the translation of the program in 2020 CDSU Games, especially in the translation of the sports acrobatics competition, gymnastics competition and rhythmic gymnastics competition. These three events are all new sports events this year, so the test of our group is relatively high, because there is no material in previous years as a reference, our team can only search through the Internet and translate the relevant terms of the three events that the student sister painstakingly found for us. To be honest, translation is a long process. After the translation of all kinds of search materials, we carefully proofread, especially afraid that the translation in a certain place is not so accurate, which will affect the translation quality of the whole program. Therefore, both the translation work at the beginning and the proofreading work later will be our test. Translation is originally a work that needs patience and knowledge reserves. Through the translation of the program, we also deeply realize that our mastery of some sports terms needs to be further strengthened. In a word, it's our honor to participate in the translation of the program, so that we can have a clearer understanding of the translation work and our own knowledge reserves. Therefore, we will continue to work hard and carry out more knowledge reserves during the daily life,so as to be able to handle the translation work in the next time!




二、双语播报


 1.刘巧&何小山组（游泳）
    我们小组负责的是游泳双语播报，通过本次播报，我们对游泳项目有了更加深入的认识。不仅学到了关于游泳这个项目的专业术语的翻译和一些游泳比赛规则，比如什么算犯规，还感受到了成体健儿们的热情。其中影响最深的是当时的负责老师给我们的专业性指导，他通过以往对世警会的观察，指出我们播报存在的一些问题，让我们接下来的播报以更加专业化，规范化的姿态呈现给大家！
     Our team is responsible for swimming bilingual broadcast, through this broadcast, we have a more in-depth understanding of swimming. Not only learned the translation of professional terms about swimming and some swimming competition rules, such as what is a foul, but also felt the enthusiasm of athletes. Among them, the most influential one was the professional guidance given to us by the teacher in charge at that time. He pointed out some problems existing in our broadcasting through the observation of the World Police Commission in the past. Let's present the following broadcasting to you in a more professional and standardized manner!





2.吴婧童＆梁琦组（武术套路）
    在运动会双语播报的翻译工作中，认真了解比赛信息并与专业知识相匹配，严谨认真的工作态度，与比赛方负责同学的合作交流，是我们能够顺利完成志愿者工作的关键条件。不仅如此，通过这为期一天半的双语播报，我们也收获满满。不仅掌握了更多播报方面的技巧知识，还对武术套路有关的英语专业名词有所了解，激发我们对体育英语进一步学习的兴趣。现场的武术套路比赛也十分精彩。总的来说，这是一次有趣又有意义的志愿者活动。
     In the bilingual translation work of the sports meeting, the key conditions for us to successfully completed the volunteer work were to understand the game information and matched it with professional knowledge, to have a rigorous and serious working attitude, and to be responsible for the cooperation and communication with the competitors.  More than that, we also had a lot to gain from this bilingual broadcasts. Not only have we mastered more skills and knowledge of broadcasting, but also have an understanding of English professional terms related to martial arts routines, which greatly stimulated our interest in further study of sports English. The martial arts routine competition on the spot was also very wonderful. In short , it was an interesting and meaningful volunteer activity.




3.谢睿＆周西培（网球）
  首先，很高兴作为本届运动会双语播报的一员播报了网球项目。
    网球场内，随着播报热身阶段的结束，参加网球项目的各位运动员们活力四射，奋力拼搏，挥洒汗水，掌控赛场；
  赛场上的一来一往一直牵动着我们播报员的心,比分的胶着让我们播报得异常紧张, 同时每场比赛不可避免的运动员的发球失误fault, 反击球的out都让播报的我们为运动员们捏了一把汗。
  能参加这次网球比赛的双语播报，我们是幸运的，此次播报我们既是观众又是传递信息的人员。更重要的是，这次志愿服务，让我们对我们的专业和体育赛事的结合充满了无限希望！
  It's our great honor to be one of the bilingual broadcasters of this year's games.
  In the tennis court, with the end of warm up, every tennis player participates in the matches energetically, sweating and controlling matches with ease.
 What happened on the field has been affecting our announcers' heart closely. The score rises alternately, scene continuously unusual rubber. The tie-break is making us very nervous. At the same time, we all feared for those players who has net-faults and outs.
We are lucky to join this broadcast. We are not only audience, but also play a role of delivering information. More importantly, through this service, we are full of infinite hope for the combination of our major and sporting events.
